(LO) has worked for Walt Disney Feature Animation Studios, Disney Interactive, Stargate Digital as well as independent studios. Past educator and Director at a local LA art schools and currently teaching online.

Ms. Hammond’s first NFT collaborative project with writer N.E. Carlisle ”Mermaid Eclipse” was the 1st Novel NFT on the Blockchain and received a fair amount of press from Art News, MarketWatch, Yahoo Finance and was mentioned in publications around the world garnishing a great deal of attention. The NFT is currently not for sale but remains with the Author to be auctioned as a bundle release with the 2nd follow up novel illustrated by Ms. Hammond titled ”Blue Moon Mermaid” which will be released in Dec. 2021. This NFT series also has a line of character collectibles and side stories and graphic novels in production starting end of June 2021. Ms. Hammond will illustrate the collection and collaborate on the concept and creation of NFT series.

LO’s aesthetic ranges from purely pattern design to digital illustration to video art, as well as mixed media – AR, NFT’s, product design and more. Ms. Hammond is adept at the use of symbolism for storytelling, as well as abstract digital designs and video art for galleries, you can also find her work in festivals and theater showings, but until recently you could not purchase directly for sales.
Creating NFT’s is a natural digital progression for Ms. Hammond but Cyber Art is not new for Lori Hammond – creating pixel art, cyberart, glitch art, digital graffiti and 3D Expression Generated NURB and Math related digital abstractions are a part of Ms. Hammond aesthetic vocabulary.
The Sevens Genesis Grant Nominee NFT ”Femme Allure“ is Ms. Hammond’s ( LO) personal work, not client based nor production based but her own photography and graphics and it is also her first Minted NFT. The Genesis NFT minted before the release of the NFT novel .
Creating art that can resonate at any range from “high and low” end from street to gallery to Blockchains and Crypto. The new tech such as AR and Mixed Reality and the NFT language – is a new aesthetic perhaps, perhaps not. But regardless, it is a new art per say to the art world. The future looks bright for NFT and Ms. Hammond’s art seems to fit right in.
Ms. Hammond is excited to grow in this new area as well as to continue to learn and hopefully continue to collaborate on future amazing NFT projects as well as real-world products and fine art for collectors.
